What a fun weekend it has been! Thank goodness for awesome weather with lots of sunshine and cool breeze! It was good fun as usual to be able to see and experience all the many different cultural exhibits, arts and music performed by people from countries throughout the Pacific Rim ~ Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, Australia, Canada, Alaska and even Hawaii. It wasn't easy to catch everything as there were four different staging locations and then the festival concludes with a parade through Waikiki.

Ryan and I also had the opportunity to attend the "Friendship Gala" and taste sample great food by Honolulu's popular restaurants ~ Roy's, Alan Wong's, Nobu Waikiki, Ruth Chris, Wolfgang's Steak House, Hakone, Satura Cakes and much more. Pictures from the festival to follow soon once I am able to sort them through.
