Reassurance (Day 70)

Very thankful that Hawaii didn't get plowed by the tsunami too bad. While Oahu & Kauai escaped the tsunami relatively unscathed, Big Island and Maui experienced much larger tidal surges. Nature is indeed powerful!!! The Hawaii tsunami advisory officially ended and the "all clear" was given shortly after 8 a.m. this morning on Oahu.

Thank you so much to all my family and friends that sent safe thoughts & prayers our way; we reassure you that we are safe & sound!

I'm exhausted. Drained for sure! So tired after last night's all-nighter, but grateful! Now we shift our thoughts and prayers to those in Japan, and their families around the world.

Speeding (Day 65)

Speed has no limit...I bet that was what the driver was thinking as he or she drove past us! Luckily we were driving a little under the speed limit because the next thing we heard was the siren and saw  blue lights going after that speeding car! Wasn't totally prepared for the shot hence it being out of focus...

Moth (Day 64)

This fella was a big one...and beautiful too! Saw it hanging out on the wall by the elevator so I had to run back to the apartment to get my camera before it decided to fly away! In fact, it was still there...two hours later after I had returned from running some errands.
