P.S: IMO, I felt this year's festivities wasn't as grand as last year...but I'm hoping next year will be BIGGER since it's MY year! ^__^
A traditional Chinese lion dance blessing -- Choy Cheng is a term often heard during Chinese New Year and it actually applies to anytime the lion sees a red envelope tied to some fresh green vegetables. They are fed to the lion as an offering with the greens being eaten then expelled by the lion (except for the Hong Bao) as a form of blessing.
He's more of a play mate rather than an office guard dog! At times he does bark when someone opens the office door but that's because the bell chime sound on the door wakes him from his deep dog nap. Basel the Dog makes everyone in the office happy when he's in the mood to play...which is almost ALWAYS!
I've been pondering about going short (as in sporting a new short haircut) for quite some time now. I didn't quite have the courage as I've not had such a short style since going back to college in 2006.
Today what was meant for a complimentary bang trim turned into something else. I like it but I'll admit that it'll take a while getting used to it being this short. However, I must say...my head feels a lot lighter and I'll see less long hair on the bathroom floor!!!p.s: credit to the Hubster for taking this photo
