Entertained (Day 74)

Having stayed in bed and sleeping most of the day...I tossed and turned most of last night. And when I finally was able to dose off, it was almost time to wake up for work. Still not feeling well, I took another sick day.

Woke up later in the afternoon, feeling slightly better than yesterday and some of my appetite had returned. I was also a little mobile than the day before so I moved into the living room, settled on the couch and turned on the Wii!

Reassurance (Day 70)

Very thankful that Hawaii didn't get plowed by the tsunami too bad. While Oahu & Kauai escaped the tsunami relatively unscathed, Big Island and Maui experienced much larger tidal surges. Nature is indeed powerful!!! The Hawaii tsunami advisory officially ended and the "all clear" was given shortly after 8 a.m. this morning on Oahu.

Thank you so much to all my family and friends that sent safe thoughts & prayers our way; we reassure you that we are safe & sound!

I'm exhausted. Drained for sure! So tired after last night's all-nighter, but grateful! Now we shift our thoughts and prayers to those in Japan, and their families around the world.
