Since I failed and did not complete the 365 project last year...I'm attempting another project but on a smaller scale. One photo a day for one month. Wish me luck!

Our first attempt was on April 10 after getting the O.K. from our family doctor. I had his baby bowl and spoon ready, multiple hand towels at hand and a bib just in case it turned into a really messy feeding session. It was messy but all because he willingly did not want to eat. He cried and fussed. He clenched his jaw when we put the spoon to his lips and turns his head away. I even added puréed banana to the cereal for some sweet taste but no luck either. All of our attempts so far have been met with pursed lips and frustrated cries...
I guess he has his own idea about feeding...still prefers to be breastfed only!
*sighs*
Has it been that long since I last posted here? I didn't finish my 365 last year and hopefully I'll get to do another one when Sage is a little older and not so hands on where he needs my attention all the time! I haven't really had the chance to be out and about taking pictures like before and when I do, I have him on me in the baby carrier. Not so easy to hold a camera, focus and move in motion so he doesn't fuss.
In any case, if you don't already know...Sage is my son...and he'll turn 5 months next Saturday! He was a late baby....preferred the comforts of my warm and HUGE belly but finally decided to make his appearance on October 17. He was 8lbs 9.6oz and 21 inches, delivered at 7.44 am!
Motherhood brings as much joy as ever, but it still brings boredom, exhaustion, and sorrow too. Nothing else ever will make you as happy or as sad, as proud or as tired, for nothing is quite as hard as helping a person develop his own individuality especially while you struggle to keep your own. -Marguerite Kelly and Elia Parsons
